The public is advised that the panel discussion on “Healthy Minds & Healthy Bodies for Quality Living”, scheduled for Tuesday, October 18, will take place on the Zoom platform from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the lunch time concert at the Speightstown Esplanade, St Peter on Wednesday, October 19, will feature a number of schools from across the island. In addition to the Daryll Jordan Secondary School in St. Lucy, there will be performances from the Roland Edwards Primary School, Deighton Griffith, St. Leonard’s Secondary and The Alleyne Schools.

The free concert starts at noon.

The panel discussion and lunch time concert are part of the activities to mark Education Month 2022, which continues this week with a focus on Open Days, a Hype (Healthy Youth Through Physical Education) Day at primary schools, Teachers’ Professional Day and a hike from the Gun Hill Signal Station in St George.

Education Month is being celebrated under the theme: Promoting Quality Education Through Healthy Minds and Bodies.
