Owner of publishing company Words R.M Creative, Blue Ocean Store, Mercy House Apparel and Rontee Travels, Rontee Marshall, is proposing that any young person or those interested in earning passive income can do so through travel agency Planet Marketing. She is encouraging them to sign up for three three sessions on how to earn that extra income. The 24-year-old proposes that this can be a step towards “learning how to build wealth.” “The events are three free sessions dedicated to show people how to earn additional income from home, how to book and market travel and how to create residual/passive income which is what the rich do to become wealthy,”she told Barbados TODAY. Marshall, a graduate in Literatures of English said that her heart especially goes out to the youth who graduated from college or university but can’t find any work. “This has been an issue in Barbados for a long time and I’ve always wanted to find a way to provide opportunities.” From the age of twelve, Marshall was passionate about entrepreneurship and she said she understands what many are going through because when she applied to jobs after university she was not hired and she was frustrated. “I was frustrated because Barbados is a let down to its young a lot of the times in the area of lack of employment opportunities, but relieved because I could work full time on my businesses and find a way to help others and make a positive impact on people’s lives which is a strong desire of mine.” She is urging those who are unemployed to come out to the event which started today and continues tomorrow Saturday and Sunday November 6 at St Paul’s Conference Centre, Bayville St Michael. “Lack of finances can negatively impact you mentally (which is something I’ve experienced) and I just want to help those who are in need. The events will be covering how people can get access to a turnkey business and it can be used to help them gain income and financial freedom. She still believes in the potential of young Barbadians. “I think a lot of Barbadian youth are talented but end up wasting their talents because they have to settle for a job at a supermarket or the gas station or something like that and I want to change that. I believe Barbaidan youth have a lot more inside of them to give. I’m talking about young people a lot because I’m a young person but this opportunity is for people aged 18 and up.” Anyone who is interested can reach out to Marshall via ronteeslife@gmail.com (MR) Barbados Today Traffic You may also like Barbados Revenue Authority reopens Warrens Payment Centre 02/02/2025 Media fraternity saddened by death of Inspector Rodney Inniss 02/02/2025 Future Centre Trust initiative donates over $250 000 to charities 02/02/2025
