Broome Primary School were certainly on fire Friday as those youngsters dominated the track bringing home gold surpassing all other houses. Many turned up at the Usain Bolt Complex, Cave Hill St Michael for a superb showing. Powering close behind Red House who won with 826 points was Gold Hose with 816 points, in third Green House with 791 points and Blue House in fourth position scoring 728. And from what was staged, the Physical Education teacher Alphonzo King says that he believes the school should put on a good show at the National Athletic Primary School Championships (NAPSAC) “We had a very excellent day today after a few short weeks of getting ready and a lot of interruptions by the rain and after coming back from the pandemic the children came back a bit short but we put in work with them and we’re hoping that from here we should be ready for NAPSAC,” he told Barbados TODAY.
