Stephen’s Nursery School will resume classes tomorrow, Tuesday, March 21, at the St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Black Rock, St Michael. Earlier today, the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MHW) indicated that it is still seeking to resolve the matter related to the external environmental concern that is affecting the school. The MHW has given the assurance that the matter will be resolved shortly. School is expected to resume at the original site following assessments by environmental health officials. Meanwhile, the ministry is also advising that classes at St. Giles Nursery School, in The Ivy, St. Michael, will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, March 21. A meeting will be held with officials from the METVT, representatives from the National Petroleum Corporation, teachers’ unions, and staff to discuss additional measures to limit the generation of dust that has resulted from the laying of natural gas pipes.
