For the members of Into the Blue Experience, it is all about providing value for money. On Sunday afternoon they attracted a sold-out crowd to Copacabana Beach Club for the latest event, Beach’d.
Provocative swimwear and summery tones were the preferred fashion choices for the ladies who dressed to beat the heat.
Not even the humid conditions could deter their ‘Blue Loyals’ from turning up beachside for the party which started at 2 p.m. Patrons had the option of booking cabanas, day beds and table packages for the six-hour party.
The deejay lineup which included Scott Le Rock, Hutchy and Sizz and Chasey the Entertainer along with Sheldon Papp kept the vibe hyped as the evening progressed.
As the music pulsated in the background, local entertainers seen weaving among the partygoers included T.C (Terrencia Coward), Hypasounds and Faith Callender.
Into the Blue Experience director Jeremy Bradshaw told Barbados TODAY that curating a fantastic experience is at the core of what the team does. For Beach’d, the group set an attendance target that still allowed patrons to be comfortable within the venue. About being sold out, Bradshaw said “We are humbled by it. It’s the first time that we have done a beach party for a while, so we are really grateful for the support from our committee, service providers and the patrons especially.”

He recalled how Into the Blue Experience was conceptualised by a group of friends.
“In 2016 we really decided, enough of just having all these ideas and not doing anything with them. Let’s do something first for the enjoyment of people who are close to us, who lime with us, who we have experiences with in other people’s parties.”
The other directors making up the team are Damian Cohall, Gary Gibbons, and Peter Sealy.

Bradshaw said, “We started small with catamaran cruises. We just built and developed a following of loyal patrons. They support us. They have been there from the beginning, and we really appreciate them and it’s because of them really that we are here today.
“There are many too who form an extension of the team even though we are the directors.”

Dwayne from Impressive Bar Services, Chef Creig Greenidge and mixologist and chef Thaddeus Sealy are some of the other individuals who have been instrumental to the committee of the Into the Blue Experience, he added.
Although determining a name was a lengthy process for them, they were all certain of their focus to cater their events to a broad demographic.

“We just always felt that we had an idea of what value would be for the average patron, whether you have money or you don’t have the money; whether you just want to come out and have a good time with nice clothes or without the nice clothes.”
Their upcoming events will include the flagship Into the Blue Cooler Cruise Experience on July 30. This breakfast inclusive cooler cruise experience will have a little twist, he added.

“We do a pre-party, we either do it dockside or on the boat so patrons can have a time to come in and get some food. They can start their drinks and obviously we give them a little something too,” Bradshaw said.
Du Jour the Brunch Experience, their premium event will follow in November. (STT)
