Police Communications and Public Affairs Officer Inspector Rodney Inniss told reporters that a 20-year-old died at the scene while the other shooting victim, a 26-year-old man, was taken to the hospital by private car. โHe is said to be in a very serious condition,โ disclosed Inniss who said officers at the District โCโ Police Station had received a call around 7:37 p.m. that a number of shots were fired in the St Philip community. He said investigations are ongoing and appealed to anyone who may have witnessed or have any knowledge of the incident to contact the District โCโ Police Station at 416- 8200 /8204, Police Emergency at 211, or Crime Stoppers 1-800-TIPS.
