James ‘Jimmy’ Clarke, Director of Engineering – Power Systems at TMR Sales & Service Ltd assumed the role as the new President of the BCCI effective May 2023, replacing Anthony Branker who completed his two-year term as President from 2021-2023. Jimmy has been a member of the Council of the BCCI since 2018 and served as Senior Vice President from 2021-2023. He will be supported by the following members of the Executive Committee of the BCCI: R. Paul Inniss, Executive Vice President & General Manager, Executive Management, at Sagicor Life Inc. Barbados, was appointed to the post of Senior Vice President of the Chamber for the period 2023-2024. Paul joined the BCCI Council in 2021. Paul is a successful and results-driven insurance executive who has worked across all business segments within the financial services industries over the last thirty (30) years. Joan “Betty” Brathwaite, CEO, Topstar Services SRL, who will continue to serve as Vice President of Finance on the BCCI Council. Betty has over 25 years of experience in audit, tax and corporate services. Victor Boyce, Vice President, Managing Director, Ansa Merchant Bank (Barbados) Limited was appointed to serve as Vice President of the BCCI for 2023-2024. Victor is a career banker with over 20 years’ experience in the industry and an astute leader who is highly adept at client relationship management.
