Defending champion of the Breeders Sprint Dominus rocketed out of the starting gates into the lead in the 1100 meter future race, as 8\5 in the betting Hurricane trail the field of six. Cruisin over the hill past the basketball count approaching the three-furlong marker, jockey Rey Williams was sitting chilly over Dominus as he went through fractions of 25.2 and 48.4.
