The ICE Events team kicked things up a notch last Sunday with the annual ICE End of Summer VIP Experience event at the National Botanical Gardens. And what a transformation!

The venue? Bigger. The crowd? Bigger. The stage? Bigger. The menu? Bigger. The entertainment? Bigger. ICE? Better.

Attendees didn’t disappoint, embracing the call to sport summer colours. Ladies flaunted the latest fashion, while the gents held their own. The fusion of outfits and décor set a vibrant and festive mood.

Lil Rick closed out the event in fine style.

Early birds received ICE-branded fans to beat the heat, but as the night progressed, even these couldn’t cool down the sizzling vibes. Branded cups and other swag added to the fun.

This gilrie crew followed instructions and wore their summer colours.

The cups came in handy for those frequenting the bar for drinks, which flowed aplenty thanks to an increased number of food stations offering diverse menu options.

In the newly-introduced VVIP section, hosts welcomed patrons, and a 360-degree photo booth captured unforgettable memories.

Some folks made sure to capture memories of the event.

Foodies rejoiced in a wide array of culinary delights by Chef Creig Greenidge, Chef Steven Byer, and Chef Ali Hinds, courtesy of Bombay Club Restaurants at Sandals. The bars kept the libations flowing smoothly.

Friends and fun.

The live entertainment lineup was also super-sized compared to previous years. Mole, Grateful Co, Leadpipe & Saddis, and Lil Rick kept the party going, accompanied by a mixed crowd of young and young-at-heart revellers grooving to this year’s Crop Over hits and more.

Drinks flowed at ICE.

DJs Bubbles & Evolution, Fullklipp, Hutchy & Sizz, DJ Ras, Legacy, Raw Gas, Thorny, and Jerry Dan dished out a mix of soca, dancehall, old and new dub, afrobeats, rap, and even some retro disco selections.

From the event’s kickoff to the final tune played just after midnight, Infamous HD and Chrissy D hosted the evening, ensuring patrons had a blast at this bigger and better event. Many have already committed to attending the ICE Winter event in December. (PR)
