Tour de Bim set for exciting climax on Sunday

Miami Blazers cyclist Johnny Brown is poised to enter the final stage of the Tour de Bim as the leader, having secured two impressive second-place finishes in Warrens and Bushy Park.

Brown, who has accumulated a total of 46 points, has his sights set on clinching victory in the inaugural tour as the cyclists gear up for the road race around the island on Sunday.

In a thrilling Friday evening race, Brown crossed the finish line just behind his teammate Tanner Ward, leaving Andrew Scrano, Luca Bourgoyne, and Mexico’s Eder Frayer in his wake.

However, the competition heated up on Saturday at Bushy Park, where Eder Frayer, representing the Legion of Los Angeles, claimed the top spot on the podium.

Brown once again came second, with Luca Bourgoyne following closely in third.

With Brown leading the pack with 46 points, Frayer close behind with 43, and Luca Bourgoyne not far off with 40, the Tour de Bim title in the elite class promises to be a fiercely contested battle.

In a parallel competition, national cyclist Ron Greaves appears to be on the path to securing the Tour de Bim Division two category, thanks to his victory on Saturday and a solid second-place finish on Friday.

Greaves’ 48 points currently place him at the forefront, with Mark Thompson closely trailing behind at 46 points.

Thompson had secured victory in Friday’s event in Warrens and finished third at Bushy Park, making the Division Two competition one to watch as the tour reaches its climax.
