Today, Member of Parliament for St Thomas Cynthia Forde joined students and staff members in the auditorium of the Cane Garden, St Thomas institution for the school’s Founder’s Day Service. The two-hour-long service included speeches, a prayer by Rector of Christ the King Anglican Church, Reverend Davidson Bowen, bible readings, and musical renditions by students. Carol Vaughan, wife of the founding father, also attended the service, in addition to members of the Lions Club of Barbados South. The Club presented 10 fans to the school during the celebratory activity.
