Police investigating death of 17-year-old girl

District ‘C’ police are investigating the death on Saturday of a 17-year-old girl at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Police received a report from the hospital about 12:24 p.m. that a 17-year-old girl was brought there in an unconscious state.

Efforts were made to revive her but she was pronounced dead by a Medical Doctor, police said.

Investigations are continuing into this matter.
