Police said the shooting happened just after 11 a.m. on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Shane Parris, 31, of Mangrove, St Philip. According to police, Parris was along the roadway when a vehicle pulled up and a man exited and fired several shots before driving away. Parris died on the spot.
