Crews will tackle the removal and replacement of the old support beams on the other side of the structure which support the remaining two (2) pumps in the well. The Station will remain online until work starts to remove and replace the beams. However, while the repairs are underway, pumping will be intermittent and the pumping capacity will be reduced. The BWA reminds residents in the connected catchment area that while the work is being conducted, their pipe-borne supply will also be intermittent. The Authority urged customers to store an adequate amount of water for their households to help during this period. Five gallons per person per day is recommended. The Water Tanker team will continue to assist residents in the districts impacted in the interim.
