Husbands, of Ferniehurst, Black Rock, St Michael, is charged with the September 4, 2020 killing of Oluremi Young of Bagatelle, St Thomas. The 38-year-old was killed at Oistins Bay Gardens in Christ Church. A 12-member jury, of seven women and five men, was selected, and Principal State Counsel Olivia Davis delivered her opening statement. Husbands is represented by Senior Counsel Angella Mitchell-Gittens. Madam Justice Pamela Beckles is presiding.
