Tonight, police were investigating the grim find of the body of a male in a bushy area at Marley Vale, St Philip. Speaking at the scene, Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police Victor Brewster said that just after 6:30 p.m., officers received reports about the sighting of the body. “As a result, officers responded and found a male lying motionless in a shrubbery area at Marley Vale, St Philip. At this stage, the investigation is in its early stages. The deceased is in his late 30s and we would like to offer condolences to the family. Anyone who has any information about the death of this male, which we believe occurred some time today, can call us at the Southern Division at telephone numbers 416-8200, 418- 2612 or police emergency number at 211.” One relative at the scene expressed shock at the turn of events, saying the victim was not known to be engaged in any suspicious or unruly behaviour.
