Police said the collision happened around 8:45 and involved a car and a bicycle. They were travelling in opposite directions along Coles Cave Road in the vicinity of the Grape Hall Seventh Day Adventist Church. The cyclist was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he died whilst receiving medical treatment. Police said the victim’s identity is still being verified. It was not immediately clear if the driver was injured. Investigations are ongoing.
