Five men are nursing injuries after being shot in Shepton Lane, The Pine, St Michael last night.

Police said in an initial statement this morning that the men – aged 26, 27, two of them 37, and 42 – were in the area around 11:15 p.m. when two men on a motorcycle approached them and opened fire, before riding off.

The men were hit about the body, including the neck, chest, feet, arms, and upper and lower torso. They left the scene via private transport to seek medical attention , police said.

According to the police statement, the most seriously injured persons were described by medical personnel as “serious but stable condition”.
