It said following assessments conducted after the passage of Hurricane Beryl, it was determined that schools were fit to reopen to accept students, teachers and staff. In the case of Wesley Hall Junior School, the ministry said the repairs being done there prior to the hurricane had to be halted due to the weather conditions. The school will therefore remain closed to facilitate the completion of the work. The ministry thanked everyone who assisted in bringing the schools across the island back to a satisfactory condition after the hurricane.
