Traffic Management for Bridgetown Market on Saturday, August 3rd & Sunday, August 4th, 2024

On Saturday 3^rd and Sunday 4^th August 2024, the National Cultural Foundation, will present the annual Bridgetown Craft Market to be held on The Mighty Grynner Highway.

ROAD CLOSURE

On the days in question, between 2:00 p.m and 11:00 p.m, The Mighty Grynner Highway from its junction with Holborn Circle to its junction with Brighton Road in the parish of Saint Michael, shall be closed to all vehicular traffic except those vehicles used by members of the Festival Committee.

During the relevant period, no person shall park or allow a vehicle to remain stationary on the following roads, except for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers:

(a) Brighton Road from its junction with Black Rock Main Road to its junction with Mighty Grynner Highway

(b) Black Rock Main Road from its junction with University Drive to its junction with Eagle Hall

(c) Deacons Farm Road from its junction with Deacons Road to its junction with Brighton Road

(d) President Kennedy Drive

(e) Fontabelle Road

(f) Deacons Road

(g) Westbury Road

On the mentioned dates during the relevant period, no person shall park or allow a vehicle to remain stationary along the emergency route or alternate route except for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers.

These rules do not apply to vehicles used by The Barbados Police Service, the Barbados Defence Force, the Barbados Fire Service, or any emergency vehicle.
