Motorcyclist in Christ Church accident dies

The motorcyclist involved in Wednesday’s accident along Welches Road, Christ Church has died.

Police have identified him as Jamal Ramsay, 35, of Browne’s Gap, Sargeants Village, Christ Church.

He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance after he was involved in a collision with a vehicle owned by the Barbados Police Service.

Ramsay’s pillion rider, Tishana Jamelia Ward, 22, of Husbands, St James was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene.

Investigations are continuing.
