Lawmen report that Kyle Irvin Haynes, 35, of Dear’s Land, Black Rock died following the incident that occurred around 9:15 p.m. According to officers, a group of men were sitting around the gallery of a house when the two masked assailants walked up on them and started shooting. The group scampered but after the melee, Haynes was found motionless on the ground with what appeared to be gunshot injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor. Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have knowledge or information about the circumstances is advised to contact the Black Rock Police Station at 417 7500 or Police Emergency 211 or Crime Stoppers hotline 1800 8477 (TIPS).
