The round of 16 continued Saturday with several exciting matches played at the Belfield Courts. The tournament, known for its intense competition and passionate fan base, did not disappoint. There was a showdown between young and upcoming Kyana Holder and consistent veteran Estaphine Holder. Kyana, coming from a set down, staged a remarkable comeback to defeat her mother 18-21, 21-4, 21-12. The match was a testament to Kyana’s skill, determination, and unwavering focus. In the opening match of the night, Kyana found herself trailing 4-0 but quickly turned things around, winning the next seven points. However, a series of errors allowed Estaphine to regain the lead and take the first set. The second set was a completely different story.
