Update: Unnatural death at Emerald Park, St Philip

Police have identified the woman who was found dead at a residence at Emerald Park West, St Philip.
She is Daphne Thomas, 52, of #347 Emerald Park West, a former prison officer.
Police were summoned to the residence just before 5 o’clock this morning to respond to a domestic dispute that involved a male. Police responded and discovered Thomas’ lifeless body.
A man is assisting police with investigations. Police said the man had allegedly ingested a poisonous substance and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention.
