He disclosed that two 15-year-old boys were involved in a fight and one used a small knife to stab the other. Both students are subject to suspension. McCarthy said routine searches will be done randomly going forward to ensure safety at school. Officials from the Ministry of Education, teacher union representatives and lawmen visited the school earlier this morning. Counselling was provided for students and staff who needed it.
