Police probe unnatural death

A St Michael man was shot and killed in the early hours of this morning.

Police have identified him as Ricardo Rohan Gill, 38, of #34 Newton Crescent in The Pine.

Police said they received a report around 1:45 a.m., that a male was shot whilst sitting on his step. When they responded to the incident, they discovered Gill’s body with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor and was identified by family members.

Police are asking anyone with information related to the incident, to kindly contact the Criminal Investigations Department (District ‘A’), District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7246, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477) or any police station.
