The Ministry of Education says classes at St Luke’s Brighton Primary and Eden Lodge Primary will resume on Wednesday.
Both schools were closed as a result of strong odours over the last two days – St Luke’s on Monday and Eden Lodge today.
In a statement issued this evening, the ministry said both schools have been cleared to reopen “as the intermittent odours pose no threat to the health of students and staff at either institution”.
It added that investigations into the disruption of classes at other schools are continuing and pledged to provide a more comprehensive report.
Classes at Parkinson Memorial School ended around 12:30 today amid concerns about a bedbug infestation.
