The donations were done in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organisation. The beneficiaries of the food drive were the HIV/AIDS Food Bank, Street Lamp Ministries and the Child Care Board. Deputy Chief Agriculture Officer Barney Callender said there were a number of Barbadians in need and the donation would go a long way to help many families. The presentation was made at the ministry’s headqaurters in Graeme Hall, Christ Church.
