Traffic changes for Sunday’s Remembrance Day Parade

The Remembrance Day Parade and Interdenominational Service 2024 will take place on Sunday, November 10, in National Heroes Square, The City, between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

 

From 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., Trafalgar Street, Rickett Street, High Street, Wharf Road and Upper Broad Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

 

During that period, Broad Street from its junction with Prince William Henry Street to its junction with High Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic. In addition, traffic will not be allowed to travel from Fairchild Street onto the Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge.

 

No person will be allowed to park along Belmont Road, Constitution Road, Martindale’s Road, St Michael Row, Bridge Street, Trafalgar Street, Magazine Lane, Coleridge Street, Palmetto Street or Rickett Street.

 

All drivers, riders, pedestrians and riders or leaders of animals using any of these roads are urged to exercise caution and comply with any order given by a member of The Barbados Police Service in uniform.
