Spencer, who was on the job just yesterday, died at her home this morning, the Ministry of Education confirmed. The news left students and staff visibly shaken and the ministry deployed a senior education officer and grief counsellors to the school this morning to offer counselling and support. Once the counselling session had concluded and lunch was served, regular classes were suspended for the remainder of the day. The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training has extended condolences to the family and friends of Rowe-Spencer.
