Titled Inspiring Better Choices for a Better World, the calendar is part of a longstanding collaboration with the Barbados Prison Service. For over eight years, ANSA McAL and its subsidiaries have partnered with the prison’s art department to produce this unique calendar. It showcases paintings by inmates, including many pieces that have earned awards at the National Independence Festival of Creative Arts (NIFCA). Thus, our rehabilitation strategy is to sensitise all inmates so we can achieve our vision,” he said. Rachel Pilgrim, Head of Marketing for ANSA McAL Barbados, shared the company’s enthusiasm for the project. “We enjoy managing this project every year and provide the paints and canvases for the inmates to create these wonderful pieces of art. The paintings are then photographed in order to produce the calendar which is handed out to our customers at our various companies.
