Walters died on Sunday. The prime minister noted that Walters had a long career in industrial relations and human resources, and served Barbados at high levels as a senator and minister of state in the Prime Minister’s Office, with responsibility for employment, labour relations, and the social partnership. He also served as minister of state for labour and immigration.
