Dalton House amassed a huge total of 1510 points to become clear winners while 2024 champions Deighton House (red) had to settle for second place, with 1354 points. Armstrong House (blue) placed third on 1174 points and Collymore (green) were fourth with 804.5 points. Armstrong House took home the junior victrix and victor ludorum titles thanks to Brianna White who racked up 71 points and Tyler Gill who finished with 65 points. The senior victor ludorum was secured by Deighton House’s Walton Yarborough with 50 points while Dalton House’s Serenity Millar 80 points was enough to earn her the senior victrix ludorum honour. Dalton House’s title charge highlighted some very impressive performances. In the girls Division One, Serenity Millar showed her class as she won the 100m in 13.14 seconds, the 400m in one minute, 06.09 seconds while adding silver in the 200m in 27.52. Skye Edghill-Mapp was the queen of the sprints in the girls Division Two girls as she captured the 100m (13.35), 200m (26.80) and 400m (1:03.57). In the girls section, Serena Hope was the triple crown winner by taking the 100m (14.19), 200m (29.87) and 400m (1:11.34). In the boys equivalent, Zachary Ladipo was first in the 400m (1:05.53) and second in the 200m (29.73). White also produced impressive performances, striking gold in the girls Division Three in the 100m (13.48), 200m (28.32) and 400m (1:08.70). She accumulated a whopping 71 points to win the girls Division Three title. Armstrong House’s Jordyn Adams and Amari Forde also battled it out for the fastest boy in the school title in Division One. Adams got the better of Forde in the 100m in a time of 11.30 seconds to Forde’s 11.39 seconds but Forde hit back in the 200m to win in a time of 22.72 seconds, beating Adams who came home in 22.89 seconds. Another highlight was Deighton House’s Aiden Moore who strode comfortably to 52.91 seconds in winning the boys Division Two 400m. Hope emerged as the girls Division Five champion with 53 points while in the boys equivalent, Ladipo was declared champion with 53 points as well. In the girls Division Four, Emily Cyrus of Deighton House claimed 48 points to become champion while in the boys section, Collymore House’s Xavier Walcott attained 27 points to win that title. Destiny Layne of Deighton House took home the girls Division Two honour with 74 points and housemate Walton Yarborough won the boys title with 50 points. Dalton House’s Serenity Millar piled up a massive 80 points to walk away with the girls Division One title while Jules O’Garro, also of Dalton, was deemed the boys Division One champion with 47 points. Four new records were etched into history. In the girls Division Two long jump, Deighton’s Destiny Layne leapt 5.01m to break a 30-year-old record while in the boys Division One 1500m, Dalton House’s Matheiu Clarke erased a 16-year-old record by running 4:23.22. In the open girls 3000m, Collymore House’s Laila McIntyre ran 12:14.99 to remove a 17-year-old mark while a record which lasted 16 years was broken in the boys open 5000m by Collymore House’s Luke McIntyre 17:09.71.
