Sometimes, in public-facing roles we are called to navigate difficult and challenges situations. Jackie, in her role as the face of the BLPC, always approached those times with grace and measure. That she was an incredible human being translated into her being an incredible professional. Her contributions to the energy sector and her unwavering commitment to fostering strong relationships between our institutions will also definitely be missed. My entire team today recalled that there was never a time when they called Jackie, and she wasn’t willing to assist. At times, they recalled her being the first to reach out to us on Energy Month to see how she could help. Jackie’s was a heart and life dedicated to service, and she has left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working with her. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with Jackie’s loved ones and the entire Barbados Light & Power family. May Jackie’s memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her. We honour her life and her remarkable achievements, and we will continue to uphold the values and dedication she exemplified in her work.” Barbados Today Stay informed and engaged with our digital news platform.
