Police have identified the deceased as 32-year-old Obrian Jerome Dixson of Bamboo Road, St. Lawrence, Christ Church. According to reports, police responded to a call made around 9:05 a.m. that an altercation had occurred among a group of men in the area. Upon arrival, they found the body of a male lying motionless along the roadway. Personnel from the Barbados Ambulance Service went to the scene but found no signs of life. Dixson was subsequently pronounced dead by a medical doctor. Further investigations revealed that two other individuals were injured and were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. Investigations are ongoing.
