Road closure: ABC Highway from SJPI roundabout to the junction with Highway R (BET Hill)

The southbound lane of the ABC Highway, from the SJPI Roundabout to the junction of Highway R (BET Hill), will be closed from Monday, March 10, for approximately seven nights from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

This is to allow Infra Construction Inc. to mill and pave this section of the highway as part of the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) Highway Maintenance Programme, which is a preventative maintenance strategy to help protect the subbase and improve the longevity of roads with high traffic volumes.

During the construction period, access will be permitted to emergency and Public Service Vehicles; however, motorists should avoid using BET Hill where possible.

Vehicles travelling south on the ABC Highway from the SJPI Roundabout to Highway R will be diverted north onto the ABC Highway, then left onto the Pine East-West Boulevard, left onto Pine Plantation Road, left onto Collymore Rock road to re-join the ABC Highway at the Wildey Y-junction.
