Operation Triple Threat’s (OTT) reputation for delivering spectacular, high-calibre productions remains unmatched—and their latest undertaking is no exception. With Mary Poppins: The Broadway Musical, the company once again showcases its exceptional ability to breathe new life into a beloved classic.

At the heart of the production was the emotional journey of the Banks family. While staying true to the spirit of the original tale, the production deepened the storyline with thoughtful portrayals of complex family dynamics. The props were a standout—chimneys puffed real smoke—and the costumes, which captured the essence of the period in which the story is set, were exquisite. Even the silhouettes of lead characters adorning the walls of the Banks home reflected a meticulous attention to detail. Scene transitions were seamless and efficient, maintaining the show’s momentum and keeping the audience fully immersed.

As for the cast, Sarah Maloney dazzled in the title role, embodying Mary Poppins’ poise, sharp wit, and understated warmth with grace and charm. Her vocals were pitch-perfect, and her commanding presence anchored the entire production. She was ably supported by Atiba Sealy-Thompson as Bert the chimney sweep.
