The trial of a man on nine counts of sex-related charges, including the alleged rape of an eight-year-old girl, is set to begin on July 14.

After his arraignment before Number 5 Supreme Court Justice Pamela Beckles on Thursday, Robert Ricardo Parris pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

Parris, who is being represented by Senior Counsel Arthur Holder, is accused that between January 2015 and March 2016, he committed the offences against the child. The allegations include four counts of rape, three of sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 14, and two of indecent assault.
