$5 000 bail for tattoo artist accused of assault, property damage

A 33-year-old tattoo artist has been released on $5 000 bail after appearing in the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on two charges.

Ridge Troy Patrick Boyce of Cave Hill Terrace, Bow Road, St Thomas, denied that without lawful excuse, he damaged a cell phone belonging to John Bascombe, intending to damage such property or was reckless as to whether it would be damaged, on May 10.

He also pleaded not guilty to assaulting Bascombe, causing him actual bodily harm on the same date.

After hearing no objections to bail, Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes adjourned the matter until September 3 and ordered Boyce to stay away from the complainant.

Boyce is represented by attorney-at-law Romain Marshall.
