A 30-year-old cook has been remanded to Dodds Prison on firearm and ammunition charges.

Shawntell Katrina Greenidge, of Bartlett’s Tenantry, Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church, is accused of possessing a firearm and 26 rounds of ammunition without a valid licence on May 20.

She was not required to plead to either charge when she appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee in the No. 2 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Friday afternoon.

Greenidge is represented by attorney Neville Reid and is scheduled to return to court on June 20.
