Police probe fatal stabbing in Christ Church

A family dispute at Parish Land, Christ Church on Tuesday afternoon ended in tragedy when a 30‑year‑old man was fatally stabbed.

A person of interest is now assisting police with their inquiries after the victim, Ewing Forde of Parish Land, was found with stab wounds when officers from the District ‘B’ Police Station arrived on the scene shortly before 2 p.m., according to a police statement. A doctor later pronounced him dead.

Forde’s death brings the number of homicides in Barbados this year to 33.
