Damario Jefferson Doughlin, 17, of Walkers, and Gabriel Micaiah Greaves 18, of Farrells Road, Lakes, appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee in the No. 2 District โAโ Magistratesโ Court in March, and admitted to stealing a bag valued $41.56, an $831.12 pair of glasses, a purse worth $13.85, clothing valued at $124.67, $5.54 in snacks and $82 cash belonging to Karen-Ann Roberts on February 28. They were placed on probation and ordered to complete 200 hours of community service. However, when they returned on Friday, it was disclosed that Doughlin had received โa very poor progress reportโ, as he had been deemed uncooperative during the community service activities and had not completed many of the required hours. No report was available for Greaves, who informed the court that he was currently employed. Magistrate Renee directed Doughlin to pay a fine of $1 000 within one month, or serve three months at Dodds Prison.
