The collision, which occurred at around 6:48 p.m. along Haggatt Hall Road, St Michael, involved a bus, a van and Dottin’s motorcycle. According to police, the van was travelling towards Mapp Hill, ahead of the motorcycle, while the bus was heading in the opposite direction. When the vehicles reached the area of Cutting Road, there was a collision involving all three vehicles. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he later died. Investigations are continuing, said police, who appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or has information that could assist, to contact District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7246. Dottin, a former Lodge School student, worked as an air conditioning technician, he added.
