Social media personality Jason Omar Taylor, 44, of Pillersdorf Development, Long Gap, St Michael, was granted $5 000 bail as he faces a charge of malicious communication.

He must now report weekly to the District ‘A’ Police Station following allegations of sending a menacing electronic communication to Rasheed Callender on September 22.

The accused appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke and denied using a computer to send an electronic message containing threatening language intended to cause annoyance, distress, or anxiety, under the Computer Misuse Act.

Magistrate Burke granted bail with surety and ordered Taylor to stay away from Callender and report to the police every Tuesday before 10 a.m. The case is scheduled to continue in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court on March 20, 2026.
