Police from the District ‘C’ Station said the shooting occurred around 2:25 pm while a group of people were socialising outside a business establishment. Investigations indicate that a motor car approached the area and its occupants opened fire before fleeing the scene. The injured man was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance, where he remains under medical care.
