Hurley to answer murder and other charges

A 27-year-old man is due to appear in court on Saturday morning to answer charges of murder and other offences.

Khalil Lavaar Hurley, of no fixed place of abode, was arrested and charged with the murder of Andre Parris and unlawful use of a firearm arising from an incident at Worthing Beach, Christ Church, on January 9, 2026.

He also faces charges stemming from an incident at Headley Land, Bank Hall, St Michael, on January 19, including criminal damage to property belonging to Samantha Chassang and unlawful use of a firearm.

Hurley is scheduled to appear before the District ‘A’ Criminal Court. (PR)
