Speaking at the National Security Divisionโs 50th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service held at the Peopleโs Cathedral on Sunday, Bradshaw said that government is actively upgrading systems, integrating new technology, and reviewing legislation to ensure it remains โfit for purpose.โ She explained that key services which include licence applications and secure payments will be transitioned online to improve efficiency, transparency, and accessibility for citizens and stakeholders. Bradshaw said the initiative forms part of a wider effort by the administration to modernise public sector operations. This includes digitising public records, expanding e-government platforms, and introducing integrated data systems to improve coordination across ministries and departments. โIn the near future, processes such as licence applications, annual registrations, and secure online system payments will be facilitated electronically,โ she stated, noting that investments in ICT infrastructure and staff training are already underway to support the transition. The Deputy Prime Minister underscored that the modernisation drive also extends to national security operations, where manual systems are being replaced with technology-driven solutions to enhance accountability and service delivery.
