Asgill, of Lot 447, 16th Avenue, West Terrace, St James, was shot and killed when a gunman opened fire on a group of men gathered near a shop along 3rd Avenue, Chapman Lane, shortly before 9 p.m. Three other men were injured in the attack and were transported to hospital for treatment. Police investigations into the deadly shooting are continuing, and authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1800-8477, Police Emergency at 211 or the Criminal Investigations Department at 430-7189 or 430-7190.
