Carlton & A1 Braves win dominoes knock out title

Carlton & A1 Braves captured the Barbados National Dominoes Association Knock Out tournament title over the weekend to secure their second championship for the year.

Playing at Barbados Defence Force (BDF) Headquarters  they defeated 37 Family KC’s Joint 72-58, with standout performances from Carolyn Chihuahua Harbin-Goddard and Siebert Saunders Jordan who combined for 22 points to drive the team’s win.

They were ably assisted by Joan De Pony Griffith and Xavier Duncan who added 15 points.

For 37 Family KC’s Joint, Troy Gobin and Torque Sealy grabbed 15 points.

In the third place playoff, French Village got the better of Peace and Love as they clinched a comfortable 70-53 win, thanks to 15 points from David Brathwaite and Gregory Best.

The Village Three Hand tournament slams off on July 9.
