CourtCrimeLocal News St Michael man fined $30 000 for cannabis offences by Barbados Today 17/08/2026 written by Barbados Today Updated by Shanna Moore 17/08/2026 1 min read A+A- Reset FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 136 A 29-year-old St Michael man has been fined $30 000 after pleading guilty to trafficking and importing eight kilogrammes of cannabis valued at $128 000.Lynson Henderson Cox of Lewis Gap appeared before Magistrate Gayle Scott in the District โAโ Traffic Court on Saturday, where he pleaded guilty to both offences.The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) said the offences occurred on July 13 and involved suspected cannabis with an estimated street value of $128 000.Cox was ordered to pay the $30 000 fine within six months or spend six months at Dodds prison.He was arrested and formally charged by the TBPS Narcotics Unit.
